At the basis of EUB engineering is a tool developed in collaboration with the Politechnical University of Milan.
After years of study and running of simulations this tool accurately measures
system behaviors under any working conditions.
The 3D calculations and modelling are supported by a simulation test rig,
designed to report back sensitive data and ensure the correct analysis of the
system’s criticism.
The EUB technical team is available for:

HORIZONTAL SHOE

The horizontal EUB shoe covers a wide range of dimensions for heavy industry applications: naval and cement factories are just an example of huge dimension EUB capabilities.
In the picture below is represented a bearing shoe of 2,5 x 3,0 meters.

HIGH PERFORMING PEEK BEARINGS
Eurobearings engineers have developed a PEEK application revert in a couples of EUB patents, that consists in having developed and perfected an innovative system for anchoring PEEK material to iron, including a thermally insulating a temperature probe, completely embedded in the polymeric layer.
A probe, embedded in the polymeric layer and attaching a conductive element to it which is in direct contact with the external surface, and therefore with the oil, allows to record the real oil or water temperature working conditions.
In addition, the researches have projected a test rig for running simulation to validate bearing calculation and study the rotor behaviour. They have improved the tool in order to calculate the system criticism (eg. damping and stiffness coefficients). The Software, developed with POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY of MILAN, calculated viscosity variation due to change in temperature based on Reynolds equation. In particular, in collaborations with Polytechnic University of Milan, the Company has developed a bearing calculation tool. This tool can measure the performance of bearings under specific conditions.
